With a reputation as one of the hippest, most happenin' hangouts east of the Evergreen Point Bridge, the Shark Club constantly churns the entertainment waters to provide a variety of reasons to make the plunge into its Kirkland waterfront site. It's perhaps best known for bikini contests, with more than $1,000 in prize money to the winners. Ladies Night is also extremely popular, and on weekends the fun meter goes up another couple of notches with dancing to live music or especially energetic DJs. You can drop in any time and play pool for free on one of a dozen tables or sit in the sports bar and watch the Mariners or Huskies on big-screen TVs. A full bar offers a staggering variety of drinks, including more than 14 brews, from local microbrews to big-time national brands.
