This newer hotel is a stone's throw from some of the best shopping in the city at University Village, and its only five minutes from downtown Seattle. The rooms are average-sized and clean, and the proximity to the University of Washington is a benefit for friends and relatives coming to visit the beloved college student. There's an indoor pool and fitness center on-site, and the UW Waterfront Activities Center is only a mile down the road, right next to Husky Stadium. No need for room service at this place -- you'll want to check out all of the wonderful restaurants nearby. One of our favorites, Azteca, just recently moved in right across the street from the hotel. -- Patricia Whisler
