Sonya's Bar & Grill   

Sonya's has been a favorite of mine for years---old Sonya's, new Sonya's! . It feels like home when I wander into the back bar with the lovely view of Puget Sound. Oh, those martinis!

This bar has not been gay or gay friendly for a long time....at least since 2004/05. Gay/lesbian patrons andf their friends are best off spending their time, and certainly their money, at a bar that welcomes and encourages their patronage. This bar unfortunately does neither....

A nice place to drop by after work for a cocktail. Friendly bartenders and a wonderful mix of regulars and downtown professionals. Gay Bar in back is geared towards the Gay crowd and the front is a mix of young gay/straight mix. Food is a bit pricey and takes too long to arrive. Unfortunantly since Ray, the well known former lead cook left, the quality of food has gone down. Drink there yes but eat somewhere else.
