There's nothing quite like the Greenlake area of Seattle. And the Emerald Inn takes advantage of the popular district with competitive room rates and a location just close enough to the lake for guests to enjoy all of its advantages. Take an early morning run around the lake, go for a late afternoon coffee at Starbucks or just sit on the banks of the lake and people watch. This is a great hotel to choose if you're attending a University of Washington event because it's within about 15 minutes of the university, and it most likely won't be crowded at game or graduation time. -- Kate Mulhern
