Rate and Write a Review The SceneTriangle Pub is a historical landmark--it's got the National Park Service plaque and the layer of grime to prove it. Built in 1910 as a hotel and bar, the building's been through several incarnations, but has served as the Triangle since 1981. Besides being old, it's also notable for its diminutive size. There's only room for three small tables and a row of stools. A mix of white- and blue-collar workers--with a sprinkling of the neighborhood's hard-luck boozers--sit elbow-to-elbow.The DrawAt one point, the building reportedly served as a brothel, yet there's nothing remotely sexy about the place at present. It is, however, a fine spot to grab a beer after work or before a Mariners or Seahawks game. Sports are also the primary television fare, and the boisterous, mostly male, crowd almost feels like they've all front row seats at the stadium.
