Neighbours-Disco   

As they say around here: Everyone ends up at Neighbours. The mother of Seattle gay clubs packs in just about anyone you can -- or can't -- think of. Sure, there are plenty of gay guys scoping out each other's bodies (and outfits), but there are also packs of giggling girls dragging around their petrified boyfriends. Throw in a couple of fish-netted transvestites and sparkling drag queens, and there you have it: the club that just can't turn anyone away. Of course, the weekends are packed, especially after 2AM -- sometimes it seems all of Seattle stumbles in after hours. Drag queen shows also pack the place; so if you want to get a good look at those six-inch heels, snag a spot early. The music changes nightly, anywhere from '80s to hard house to Latin, with the dance floor always packed and sweaty. In any event, if you've had enough of the neon lights and cage-dancers, you can always retire to the upstairs pool-table area to catch your breath.
