Rate and Write a Review While somewhat on the expensive side, these Spanish-themed concoctions of this trendy tapas bar don't skimp on meat, flavor or imagination -- you'll find exotic variations such as shredded duck or carnes mixtas (venison sausage and rabbit leg) in addition to traditional standbys like pork, seafood and cheese. Many are almost full meals in themselves. And if not, that'll allow room for dessert such as Tango's signature El Diablo -- chocolate with several spices and tequila-caramel sauce. Accompany your sweet selection with one of the city's most extensive assortments of cordials: sherry, port, cognac, Madeira, and more. Tango can be crowded, especially on the weekends. The full bar stocks scores of top-of-the-line tequila, as well as Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American wines. On Monday evenings, wine bottles are half off -- so you're likely to be pretty mellow by the time you're seated. And it's always enjoyable to check out the ever-fascinating Capitol Hill scene while you wait for a seat in this hip and polished watering hole.
