The Wild Rose is one of those places that gets its best advertising by word-of-mouth. Located on Capitol Hill within walking distance of many popular dance clubs, this little bar and restaurant has a reputation as a happening place. Grab a meal, enjoy some tunes from the jukebox and play a game of pool. Although it's mainly a lesbian bar, men are certainly welcome and on Fridays and Saturdays, this place is astoundingly packed. -- Patricia Whisler
