Brad's Swingside Cafe   

As mentioned by the editor the space is rather small. The specials list is about the same size as the menu and the wine list dwarfs them both. Which is in order for a cozy mid-to-up-scale italian restaurant. The food was great and the desert, wine and service kept pace with no problem. The lack of small-party reservations does make it a little awkward for special occasions, but once seated it's hard to beat Brad's for quality and apmosphere. I would say one of the must-visit places for people living Fremont and the (epi)curious tourist.
