In ShortRemember that cafe in Tijuana, the one with the screaming hot-pink and aquamarine walls and the bent, scarred Cerveza Superior tables? They're all here, as are the wailing jukebox, the cut-tin lamps and the woman quietly making corn tortillas by the door. Belly up to the cafeteria counter, place your order, and fight for a table. Try the taquitos plate, three masa tortillas rolled around a succulent filling and served with rice and beans.

Good Food/Bad Spanish
By selseattle on 01/03/2007
El Puerco Lloron does NOT mean "stuffed pig". It actually means crying pig, or better yet "the crybaby pig". Best to check into your Spanish before writing an article based on inaccuracies. (Llenar = to fill/stuff) (Llorar=to cry).

Basic Best Homemade Fare
By neeleyc on 08/05/2006
Every chance I can I eat there which is not often enough since I do not live in Seattle. I want more than one plate of food but my wife always stops me. Each time the food is fresh, flavorful and simple.

Authentic
By cariyaki on 03/02/2005
This is the best authentic Mexican restuarant I have ever eaten at. I have been their several times and it tastes good everytime. The tortillas are homemade and the carne asada tacos are my favorite item.

Good food, OK atmosphere
By drkathyday on 11/11/2004
The home-made tortillas and excellent carne asada are a treat. But do not expect service, or much in the way of deserts. Still, the best Mexican food I have found in Seattle
