Old Country Buffet   

my family and I really like this resturaunt . The selection they have is very good for the price and with the high prices of eating out this resturaunt makes it easier on the pocketbook. I highly recommend Old Country Buffet if you have kids.

My family and I dined at this location on April 2, 2004. There were 8 of us in the group and we typically dine there on FRIDAY nights in observance of Lenten custom...no meat. So, in the course of our meal...all of us had salad. 5 of us had salad from the BUILD YOUR OWN salad bar. But myself and 2 of my children had Ceasar Salad. Those of us that ate the CAESAR got violently ill, vomitting and the runs. In our trips to the doctor, we discussed the possibilty of the food poisoning having had come from the common CAESAR, we were told to contact the restaurant and inform them. The Manager on duty did not seem to care at all that we had become sick. He did not take our names and information, nor did he take our contact info in order to have a GENERAL MANAGER call us about the matter. The lack of proper cleanliness and attention to a serious health matter was appaulling.
