French, Fun, & Intimate
This is a favorite place of mine. It's a small place with big windows and a fun decor that really does compliment the food and the experience. The big windows that overlook the water show the sunset and the lights of the city and boats after dark.
I go here to have a drink at the bar and read my paper after work as well as when I want to have a nice dinner out with a date. It's a quiet place to read a paper or have a nice conversation. I often bring coworkers from overseas here, as my office is a few blocks away.
The food varies by season, but is always good. I often have rabbit or lamb. The salads are always creative and fresh. I sometimes go with picky vegatarian food snobs who introduced me to Place Pigalle.
The wine list is large, and includes a good selection from Europe and the Northwest. The beer selection on draught is excellent and can vary by season. The selection of scotch, bourbons, and brandies is also extensive and suits tastes from around the world.
