Rate and Write a Review The SceneDim and cozy, the small bar and adjoining restaurant are comfortable places for an after-work cocktail or pre-theater meal. If a nearby theater is on the agenda for the evening, servers will give plenty of speedy attention, but leisurely meals are also enjoyable--either way, the staff keeps glasses filled and tables cleared without being obtrusive. The FoodIt's easy to have a meal just of appetizers, which include crunchy grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and drizzled with cream sauce, fried sweet-potato gnocchi and refreshing carpaccio accented with sweet grapes. If a larger entree is in order, don't miss the stuffed veal chop, filled with mozzarella and prosciutto. Better to request a side of ricotta whipped potatoes than save room for dessert--whether it's the overdone chocolate cake or the too-tart raspberry crostata, they're lacking in finesse.
