One of a kind

Last time I was in there it was kind of a dive. If you like the smell of stale beer, and the feel of your shoes sticking to the floor, this might be the place for you

Class, Sophistication, Wit

Club 23 is by far the finest watering hole in South Bend. The service is superb, and the owner frequently flaunts city law. Closing time is ROUGHLY 3am, but often fronts onto 4 or 4:30ish. In a stroke of genius not seen since Henry Ford wrought his iron magic, Club 23 has recently resumed food service. The food is a DELIGHT. I highly recommend the rib tips, washed down with a pitcher of cheap domestic beer. The chef special is his fries, which are, indeed, fried. Amenities: Here one can truly be a jukebox hero. The collection is excellent, encompassing the entire scope of music from Elvis to Black Eyed Peas. Bathrooms: Unlike bathrooms with less character and more sanitation, Club 23's lavatories possess the old-world charm of an outhouse. Overall, I can only conclude that the prior reviewers are complete fools, utterly unable to look beyond their own petty disagreements and snobbish demeanor to appreciate this gem. I also assume them to be sexually degenerate. Cheerio!

Where Everyone Knows Your Name

A diamond in the rough! Club 23 is within walking distance of the ND campus and provides a perfect place for old grads (or grad students) to throw a couple back and catch up on old times. Whether your fancy is a game a pool, a contest of darts, or binge drinking the night away, "the Club" is the place for you. With Gus' Kitchen now open and serving a wide array of tastey treats, this promises to be a blue ribbon year for Club 23, a fact certainly worth celebrating with a tall cold one from Mo, the owner. Come on down to Club 23, and leave worrying about how you're going to get home for some other time. Cheers!
