Named for the scenic New Zealand adventure spot where some of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy was filmed, Mokai offers a cozier vibe than most SoBe nightspots. A place where both locals and overstimulated celebs (according to rumor, Lindsay Lohan and Enrique Iglesias) can visit for an evening that's sexy and fun but low-key. Mokai offers rock, hip-hop, house, vodka martinis, leather booths, dim lighting and brick interiors. A staff clad entirely in Hugo Boss Red Label (thanks to an exclusive partnership with the designer) helps set the pace at an intimate hangout where the whole place just feels like one big VIP lounge. The capacity cutoff is 220, so look good, you know?
