Call up On the Rocks for directions at any hour and you'll barely be able to hear the abrupt answers. The background noise mixes blasting TV broadcasts and stat arguments with calls for more beer. This is a sports bar for those who like sports, period. The stark storefront exterior with its sober red sign on the plain white facade tells you this might not be a good place to impress a first date. Half a dozen TVs around the place draw local sports fans for up close and personal action -- and a cold beer. On the Rocks opens at 8AM, but don't go expecting breakfast -- no food, no time, no way. Fortify yourself before you go, grab a couple of friends and take advantage of the daily drink bargains. As the name implies, On the Rocks has a full bar.
