Not in the mood to drag the kiddies to Friday's? Had it with the hour-long wait at Cheesecake Factory? Think Flanigan's, South Florida's answer to all-American everyday food. Yes, it is the dive where $1.99 buys you a pint of domestic draft, and chicken wings are "award winning". Too young for beer? Start with Joe's Giant, a thirty-two-ounce plastic souvenir cup of soda, lemonade, or iced tea, also $1.99. Peel & eat shrimp and plates of barbecued chicken and ribs are darn good eatin'. "Waytoobig" sandwiches and amazing ten-ounce burgers are paired with Flanigan's world-class bucket of seasoned fries, worth the trip alone. Watching your waistline? Opt for the blackened dolphin dinner: flavorful, fresh, and refreshingly devoid of fat and grease.

I frequently go to Flannigans & I must say I'm not surprised that they are in the running. They have some of the best food in town. Their burgers are great; their clam chowder is the best I've ever had & the service is very good. I don't think there is anything on the menu I've tried that I didn't like. Honestly you must try Flannigans!.

for over 10 years. I can honestly say that I am surprised Flanigans is not number one. Quality, prices and service are all part of the Flanigan's experience. I do not own or are in any part affiliated to Flanigan's. What I can say is, I have been to the other top eight; except for Coral Gables diner, and can tell you some of the burgers are good, but what they do have in quality they lack somewhere else. Either, service or prices are usually not up to par. I don't even know how le tub can be in the same category. If you want some burger with your flies or real slow service with a nasty attitude, then I can see them in that list... Anyway, Flanigan's runs an impressive operation in all locations i have been a part of...

BEST BURGERS EVER

As a local, I come here at least monthly. They have the best food in town. The fries are DELICIOUS, the ribs fantastic, and the burgers are the best I've ever had. This is one of my favorite restaurants in town and I would definitely recommend to anyone. Don't get fooled, though...this is also a good seafood place too (hence the fishing theme)! :)

I flew from NYC to Miami to eat the Flannigan Burger for my birthday. Flight well spent.
