Though Jimmy'z was known as a swank nightclub, its successor, Glass, promises to be a spectacle in its own right. With its grand opening on New Year's Eve 2005, Glass started off with a bang. The club, created and designed by Alison Spears, is being billed as the most exclusive celebrity hideaway and VIP haven in Miami Beach. Expect to encounter three bars surrounded by internally lit, massive white columns; hundreds of imported Italian glass tiles; and avant-garde art installations. If you are anybody who is anybody, you'll be sure to get on the e-mail invite list to find out what themed events are being hosted regularly. Dress to impress -- the crowd here is usually moneyed.
