The Latin scene Miami is best known for is the stylish one frequented by South Beach types: scantily clad models, in-the-know tourists and cool locals looking to get in on the Latin vibe. But there's also the real Latin scene that, although not as glamorous, is more authentic. Tucked away in the Kendall area, Kaffe Krystal is an active spot with Miami's Latin crowd. The weekly lineup includes two live radio broadcasts on Thursday and Friday nights with local salsa favorite 98.3FM. Saturday is the most popular night, attracting hundreds of clubgoers seeking their fill of salsa, merengue and bachata. Toward the end of the night, the DJ even throws in some house, trance, R&B and hip-hop music. Too crowed

Don't take me wrong, I love to see a lot of people when I go to a club, but not to the point that you can even move, I think the owner of this place is getting to greedy or he is forgetting that the law establishes a limit of people permitted in a venue at any given time, I think a fire Marshall should visit Kaffe Krystal on a Saturday about 12:30 and hi will have close it for a couple of days so they could learn a lesson. The music is great and so is the place but someone at the door should be a little responsible and decide when is time to turn people down.
