Maracas Mexican Bar & Grille   

Oh thank goodness for Maracas! My favorite food is Mexican and since moving to Fort Lauderdale 2 years ago, I have had nothing but mediocre Mexican cuisine and weak margaritas...until now! My husband and I went into Maracas last Saturday afternoon expecting the same 'ol, same 'ol, and instead enjoyed a brunch with great Huevos Rancheros and BOTTOMLESS frozen margaritas! (My hubby had the Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas and BOTTOMLESS bloody Marys.) The service was attentive, the atmosphere is bright and colorful, and I loved the music videos being shown on the TVs. It wasn't super busy on Saturday afternoon, but I suspect when others hear about the drink prices and the availability of brunch, that will change quickly. We went back on Monday night with friends and couldn't believe the $2 margaritas were as strong and yummy as they were! I HIGHLY recommend the Carne Esada for dinner...it was amazing. We will be back, we just hope that in this weak economy, a new restaurant as good as this one will make it through the slow off-season.
