With jazz, blues and funk bands playing seven nights a week and no cover, this bar is one of the main draws on Hollywood's Young Circle. Local favorites like Lola and the Sass Band, fronted by a former model who sings torch songs in seven languages, and the Neto Funk Allstars, who fuse funky dance grooves with their rock 'n' roll, often take to the stage here. For those who like a little food with their funk, the menu offers options that are more ambitious than the standard bar grub: seared rare tuna, portabello mushroom stuffed with Italian sausage and melted cheese, French onion soup, jambalaya and prime rib French dip au jus all make an appearance alongside the customary burgers, chicken wings and fried calamari.
