Try getting into this upscale lounge without an invitation or your name on a guest list. You could be standing in front of velvet ropes for hours. It's worth the wait, though. Mynt's frosty color scheme, augmented by posh, art deco designs and tastefully hung drapes, makes it one of the most beautiful, albeit exclusive, locales in South Beach (you might recognize the lay out from a few hip-hop videos that have been filmed here). The 'ultra lounge' even pumps in aromatherapy through its vents, so the smell of cigarettes won't follow you home. Most of the patrons aren't inclined to smoke, anyway. The crowd is heavy on A-listers and celebrities, and mostly rounded out with the California variety of health and beauty fanatics who make clubbing an obnoxious endeavor for the folks who don't look like they stepped out of a glossy magazine.
