Recognized as being "sophisticated, sedate, and sumptuous" by local reviewers, the Tides Hotel claims a place as one of the most luxurious hotels in all of South Beach. With rooms as nice as the ones here, it remains no surprise that the guests are reluctant to leave. Each guest quarter is furnished in warming tones of beige, tan, sand and taupe, with a bed in the middle that looks so comfortable that it invites you to spend the day indoors. The toughest decision you'll face at the Tides is whether to stay in or go out at night. You can always enjoy a fine meal at the famed 1220 at the Tides restaurant, but there's even more to explore on the streets of SoBe. Chances are, you'll spend a few evenings doing a little bit of both.
