Owned and operated by a local family, this diner serves a variety of cuisine in its book-size menu. There aren't too many places in town where you can order a plate of golden brown pancakes dripping with sticky maple syrup or a slice of tangy Greek spinach pie with sides of rice and feta cheese. Along with classic American dishes, authentic Greek and Italian fare is featured for all three meals. Some of the menu favorites in the latter categories include the mousaka, gyro platter, baked pastitsio and the feta cheese and tomato omelette. With 400 seats in the dining hall, there is ample room for all group sizes. Families particularly like this restaurant because of the inexpensive prices and menu variety. There is also a special menu just for the little ones with such tiny tot favorites as PB&J, grilled cheese, charbroiled hamburgers and chicken fingers. Breakfast is available all day, and dinner selections are served until the early morning hours.
