Looking to enjoy a funkier, imported beer, perhaps? Then Bar at Ponce and Giralda is the place to go. Although there's a happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., things don't really get going til much later at night. The crowd here is considered young professionals, and this clientele knows good beer. And this bar prides itself on that. There are 10 imported beers on draft and more than 20 bottles. One of the more obscure -- but popular sellers -- is Corsendonk, brewed by Belgian monks and made with port raisins and chocolate. Formerly Hofbrau Bar and Grill. Music plays here every night, though it's usually the sounds of a jukebox or the bar's own CDs. Saturday nights are the only night for live music, so check out the rock-n-roll band. If you're hungry, the bar serves up some of the finest burgers in Coral Gables. But they're even more known for their wings.
