Rate and Write a Review In 1990, the Larios family opened Casa Larios a few blocks from its current location. Attracting the crowds with its delicious homemade Cuban cuisine, it even caught the attention of famed local girl Gloria Estefan who eventually joined the family to open the SoBe Larios. The earth- toned, chic decor with nostalgic murals of the island of Cuba is a nice alternative to the typical hole-in-the-wall joints serving homemade food. That's the beauty of the place: it's stylish and the food is authentic and delicious. The menu offers a good selection of meats, poultry, pork and seafood. Signature dishes include bistec de pollo (chicken steak), vaca frita (flank steak) and pollo asada (roasted chicken) served with rice and plantains. If you have room, be sure to try any of the amazing flans for dessert. And, of course, your meal would not be complete without a cafecito to finish it off. -- Marivi Iglesias
