It's a hit in Toronto, so why not see how it plays out in The Sunshine State? That's probably what nightclub impresario Oliver Geddes thought when he brought The Fifth to town in March 2006. Known for his successful theme events and super hush-hush VIP list, Geddes promises The Fifth will live up to the hype of its Canadian predecessors. This new, 8,000-foot-bilevel hotspot in the trendy SoFi area offers three full-service bars, 35 bottle service tables and three private VIP penthouse skyboxes. A private party area with couches, wood floors and different music can also be found, but wait--there's more. To keep the ladies looking chic, Geddes transformed the upstairs women's washroom into a complimentary hair and make up salon staffed with professional stylists. Quite a departure from the paper-towel-and-a-stick-of-gum personnel, eh? Not that you need an alibi, but when your jealous mate asks where you were last night you can simply plead... well, you know.
