The visual focal point of the dining room is The Spindle, a 70-ton Sir Henry Moore sculpture highlighted by a kaleidoscope of primary colors. Within this eyeful are five different dining areas which include a white sycamore paneled lounge, an aquamarine-tiled sushi and seafood bar and a glass enclosed wine room for groups of 12 or less. As for the cuisine, it's Mediterranean meets Southwestern meets Asian meets Cuban meets American. For lunch, there are sandwiches, or pasta and eggs - an odd menu pairing of omelets and pasta dishes that are served separately. The much sought after Indigo lunch buffet, which has everything from salads and appetizers to entrees and assorted desserts, is available Monday through Friday. Dinners take an elegant turn with a tartare of salmon served with paddlefish caviar and creme fraiche or lobster bisque to start, and a seared mahi mahi with Caribbean shrimp curry or milk fed veal chops to finish. An brilliant wine list and a Kahlua Cheesecake with Chocolate Sauce are two more solid reasons why Indigo can get away with being so colorful. --Lesley Abravanel
