Monty's Raw Bar   

If you're looking for fresh seafood shucked right in front of you, an outdoor raw bar that can accommodate all your rowdy companions and half- price happy hour drinks, then Monty's on the Beach is certainly doing everything right. So why exactly are you rushing home after work to catch that 'Friends' rerun? Seafood is the obvious specialty here, which at times includes an all-you-can-eat stone crab feast (they're in season from mid-October to mid- May). But don't overlook the ribs; Monty's is famous for them in South Florida, yet another reason it's part of a successful chain that recently added an Atlanta location, the first Monty's restaurant to brave the elements outside the Florida borders. The outdoor raw bar features an extensive menu. Choose from an assortment of shellfish, soups, salads, appetizers and basic bar nosh. The bar is a popular after-work gathering spot during happy hour (4-8PM), preferred for the half-price drink specials and live Caribbean and reggae music. Monty's casual setting, right off the beach, is a suitable place for relaxing with a drink or dancing until closing time.
