It seems Hollywood can put Sin City in the running now that the Seminole Hard Rock has arrived. The 12-story Mediterranean-style tower and its adjoining reservation has all the bells and whistles one would expect from a Vegas-style compound: 10 nightclubs, including Pangea Lounge, Gryphon, The Improv, an Irish pub, a dueling piano bar and indoor/outdoor billiards; upper-crust restaurants (one with a wine room containing more than 500 bottles); a food court. Plus, there's a poolside Beach Club replete with water slide; a spa; a Hard Rock Cafe; more than 20 retail shops; as well as a ballroom and club featuring national acts and even a Seminole Indian cultural center where guests can watch alligator versus man wrestling matches. There's a 5,500-seat concert and sporting arena: Hard Rock Live. Then, of course, there is the 130,000-square-foot casino with 50 poker tables and 2,100 gaming machinesPhew! Between the drinking, gambling, eating and places to get into trouble, it will surely become the Little Vegas of the South.
