If you're a true meat lover, and we don't mean the occasional burger chomper, you'll love Texas de Brazil. Known as a churrascaria, or Latin steakhouse, the popular family chain features several locations in Texas plus some scattered venues in Memphis, Orlando and even Aruba. The main draw are the meats of course and they include Angus beef, lamb, chicken and Brazilian sausage which are all slowly roasted over an open flame. A crowd favorite is the Brazilian Picanha, a top sirloin steak served salted and grilled or soaked in garlic marinade. All meats are accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes or sweet fried plantains. There is an a la carte menu but most come for the all-you-can-eat option which features 'gaucho' servers who bring specially grilled meats right to your table for a fresh off-the-skewer carving. A color-coded card lets your server know what you want. Put the green side facing up and a plethora of meat will continue finding its way to your plate. Turn it red side up and your server will realize you're (well) done.

All you could eat!

this is defenetaly the best Steak House in South Florida. It might be a little expensive but hey you could eat and eat and eat. So please come ready to stuff your self with great food from the salad bar, sides to the steaks... and talk about variety. They have everything! I defenately recommend this place.

Expect a wait. Always have reservations on a weekend. The setting is pleasing. The waiters are pleasant and attentive. The salad bar is outstanding and different. The meats are to die for. Tender and tastful. Would recommedn to anyone who is a meat lover. Will be first stop for all out of town guest. Well become my regular weekend dinning experience.

I drove 140 miles round trip to eat hear. I'm planning to make this trip at least once a month. The waiters were polite gentleman and well groomed with a smile. The food was a bargan at $21.95 pp. The salid bar was not the norm, it was assorted vegitable salids of stringbeans, artichokes, mushrooms, peppers, and shrimp bisque. The meats were juicey and robusk with flavor. The quality was on the very top. This can be compared with ANY ***** Restaraunt This all you can heaven will in keep you prisoner until you can eat no more. catspencer@aol.com

The service here is great. As soon as you sit down there is no wait for the staff to start greeting you with a variety of different meats. There is a fabulous salad bar and the meat is delicious. (Especially the top serloin or as the brazilians call it picana). And don't forgot to try the caspirinha (brazilian drink) . This restaurant is seriously a great alternative to Porcao if you love meat. There is so much meat to choose from and everything is made to perfection. Great to go during lunch b/c the buffet is half the price.
