Since 1992, the 11th Street Diner has been a low-price, unpretentious eatery in the midst of trendy, pricey SoBe. With an authentic diner atmosphere complete with neon and chrome, plastic booths and swivel stools, this is an ideal spot to hit for breakfast after a night of hard South Beach partying. You'll find plenty of red-eyed stragglers tucking into 4AM breakfasts of hearty omelets with hash browns, sweet syrup-smothered pancakes, hangover-friendly bowls of steaming oatmeal and extra-large glasses of OJ. Lunch and dinnertime are bustling as well, with diners feasting on such menu choices as the Monte Cristo sandwich, turkey platter, burger and fries plate and the ever-popular blue plate special. I love this place

It's funky, OK? I don't go to a diner for cleanliness and mainstream waitpersons. The food is good. The menu is varied. The servers are friendly and responsive and they know you the second time you go there. There are all kinds of places that are pristine and boring. This place is fun and kind of down and dirty. Know what I mean?

It just amazes me that the place is still in business. Where is the board of health and why don't the owners who are there every day do something about the filth and horrible food. I would rather starve than eat there.

No longer a great place!!!!

disgusting food and disgusting service. Had a ghetto rat for a waitress who I wouldn't even let her clean my dirty toliet take care of me was horrified by her!!! and food was fair. No longer the place I remember. you are better off going to Big Pink, Next cafe, cafe on collins and Jerry's Deli. So avoid this dirty flithy place. Cheaper to eat at Mc Donalds than this place. The dept of health should inspect this crap hole.

I agree with other posters that the place is filthy. We ordered a waffle and an omelette for breakfast. The waffle was crunchy, hollow and tasteless. The omlette was better. Standard for a greasy spoon. All in all I would skip this place entirely and head over to Big Pink.
