Brunch
By WebRay on 12/15/2008
The only good thing about this brunch is we didn't have to pay to valet park. We arrived a bit early, no problem we were seated and they brought me champagne and hubby a bloody mary. That was fine, we relaxed a bit until it was time. The brunch started about fifteen minutes late, our server kept apologizing because it wasn't ready, however I am guessing this is pretty common there. The food was flavorless. For the price we were really expecting something special, we wish we would have eaten at Denny's on the way home. This is the worst brunch we have ever had, bar none all across the United States. Don't waste your money on this one!

go anywhere else

This might just be one of the worste restaurants in the country. I have eaten here on numerous ocassions and have been disapointed each and every time. The service and lack of hospitality is what is most prominant at the Blue Door. The cuisine is fair at best. As someone who has dined at the best the states has to offer; from The French Laundry to Charlie Trotters I recomend saving your money and going for a corned beef sandwich at the Rascal House. Although the decor is done in good tatse that's where it ends. What a joke! My recomendation for the owners is to shut down and start over again. Maybe try a new business.

Bad Food
By marlenevirginia on 06/28/2005
We had the duck and lamb. There was no flavor in either meat. You couldn't tell what type of meat it was. I tasted like it had been in the freezer too long. The waiter was not helpful. It was very expensive meal with no flavor or committment to making sure we enjoyed the meal.

I have dined at the Blue Door numerous times. It is a great place to eat for the atmosphere and people watching. The food is consistently good with great presentation. The service is generally only okay. Dining at the Blue Door is typically a very slow process, but time passes quickly with the great views and people watching including regular celebrity sitings.
