Azteca Mexican Restaurants   

New owners and managers fail to measure up to what was one of the best restaurants in Spokane. I guess everything changes. The downtown restaurant used to be the best and now we must go to Post Falls, Idaho to Rancho veio to find good Mexican cusine. Too bad, downtown Aztecha used to rule but really sucks now.

This place isn't bad, but I do know of better. Personally, I like the Toro Viejo (sp?), there's a couple of them in North Idaho and maybe the Spokane area, I'd suggest perhaps the one near the Factory Outlets near the Idaho side of the state line, over near the Flying J truck stop, or maybe the Hayden location. Been too long since I've been to the downtown CDA one to comment on it, but always seemed to be the same quality. I do like this place though, not knocking it at all, why I did rate it 4 stars. Do agree the parking sucks downtown near the hotel, haven't tried the Spokane Valley mall one so can't comment.

Division St. waiter was rude & unattentive. Lied about their house margarhita saying it was the same as I had asked for with Grand Marnier & wouldn't ask bartender to make as I requested. Also, refused to make eye contact with me and ignored me in favor of my husband. Too bad for him that I was paying and decided what NOT to tip! Food was so-so, still lookiing for a really good Mexican Restaraunt.

The valley mall location is so much better. You get more food and much better service and you don't have to pay for parking either. I was really disappointed in the downtown location, it must cater to only tourists.
