There is something to be said for any restaurant that can keep pretensions low and still serve up good eats. For more than a decade, Mario's has done just that. There is excellent antipasto on the menu, as well as a good selection of big, tasty salads and steak and pasta dishes. There are both smoking and nonsmoking sections and a side lounge with a full bar at your disposal. On Fridays, Mario's occasionally hosts a live band.

Frozen pasta ?
I will not return. Why in the world would someone go to an authetic Italian restaurant for frozen ravioli?
Mario's in Weirton
The last time I was at Mario's the service was great and the servers were friendly. the steaks looked real good and the stuffed shrimp looked good. Also, salads are real good. I did not care for the sauce. sorry.

EVERYTIME I HAVE GONE TO MARIO'S THE WAITRESSES HAVE MADE ME FEEL LIKE FAMILY. THEY KNOW EVERYONE ON A FIRST NAME BASIS AND THEY ARE INTERESTED IN THE THINGS GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE. WHO ELSE CAN SAY THEY HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR ALMOST 50 YEARS? THEY MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT!!!!
