Ozzie's Restaurant & Sports   

For those who recall the dazzling plays of Cardinal shortstop Ozzie Smith, this sports bar is a real treat. The decor is 100 percent for the Cardinal fanatic. Walls and entryways are plastered with the stunning plays of "the Wizard." You'll get your sports fix for the day with four big screen TVs and more than 50 televisions displaying up to 15 sporting events. The food is typical American fare with over 80 variations on the seafood, steak, chicken and pasta theme, and a respectable vegetarian platter. There's a free buffet happy hour from 4:30-7PM, Monday through Friday. Expect a high-volume lunch crowd from local businesses, but snagging a dinner table is usually a breeze. And yes, according to one of the hostesses, you just might catch a glimpse of Ozzie heading to one of the restaurant's private rooms. He still dines in from time to time. -- Fontella Bradford
