charles in ladies shoes is outstanding. he is the only person to wait on me in 7 years. if he is not in i will simple walk away until his return.

ON Friday, JUNE 27, 2003 I attempted to make an even exchange at Dillard's Richmond Heights from the Dillards - St. Ann store. The exchange was for the exact same item, same amount, style, color, etc. in addition to having a current receipt. The salesperson mistakenly rang the item as a return and could not manage to figure out how to ring the item I wanted to keep. After 50 minutes, four calls for a manager and a trip to customer service, the manager from HELL arrived only to treat me as if I had done something wrong. Ms. Janice Stuhlmann, area sales assistant manager, arrived with one of the nastiest, snobbiest, condescending attitudes of the worst kind; only to inform me that I had to WAIT until she walked him through an even exchange. (Keep in mind that I had been waiting only 50 MINUTES prior to Ms. JAnice Stuhlmann arrival) You would think this training would have taken place during associate training seminars. An EVEN EXCHANGE for $26.29, with a current receipt (dated Monday, June 23, 2003) caused me so much grief, distress and time I will think twice before ever entering a Dillard's Department Store again!
