Stand-up comedians from across the country appear frequently at the Funny Bone Comedy Club; everyone from well-known performers who have been featured on 'The Tonight Show' or TV sitcoms to the funny guy that lives next door can be seen headlining this Westport Plaza nightclub. There are usually several performances every weekend, and occasionally there are open mic nights for amateur comedians to strut their stuff in front of a live audience. Since the Funny Bone is located near a number of other restaurants and bars, it's convenient to hop from dinner to dancing and fit a set at the comedy club in the middle. Originally opened in 1981, the Funny Bone also runs successful comedy clubs in other cities throughout the Midwest. Discount tickets are available for performances Sunday through Thursday nights.-- Dan Heaton

Gratuity disagreement
By jimc44243 on 05/14/2006
Be VERY cautious of your bill, if you have any disagreement with the tacked on gratuity (not that I mind tipping, but it's my choice of how much depending on quality of service) the waitresses will become instantly obnoxious then will give a choice, pay the entire bill as is or they will call the POLICE, thats when I was escorted out to the lobby, being threatened all the way with jail by the "bouncer?". The sign with that "policy" had the percentage marked wrong, when questioned the only response I could get out of them was pay or go to jail, some way to run a business!! The police came and went saying it was a waste of time for him.
