There are plenty of places to celebrate a Cardinals victory, but the Ballpark Saloon, where the theme is ''normal behavior not required,'' is definitely a favorite for the fan who's hunting for a boisterous baseball bash. Located just one block south of Busch Stadium, the Mad Hungarian's place is open year round, but on any given game day multiple portable bars are set up, and the tables are removed to make room as the patio swells with a major league crowd. The building is essentially a metal shed, but it houses two bars, televisions galore, an amazing array of Redbird memorabilia and an MVP lounge upstairs. Plus, the menu outdoes the selection of virtually any stadium, including delectable choices like the deep-fried cheeseburger fries, the jumbo size Madd Dog, the Big Hrabosky beef brisket sandwich and a variety of 12-inch Pop-Fly pizzas.
