In a building that had been condemned for more than two decades, Neil Harris and Rusty Woody opened AMP, transforming the space into a chic club that fits in nicely with the gay and lesbian nightlife scene in the Forest Park Southeast district. As the moniker suggests, music is the main draw, and the genre you'll hear from the computerized DJ system varies on any given evening. TVs behind the bar are tuned in to music videos, and though the sounds of old-school alternative, modern rock songs and electronica are pulsing through the speakers.
