With larger space and both non-smoking and smoking lounges intact, the second incarnation of Atomic Cowboy gives its patrons a breath of fresh air. The coffeehouse-come-art-gallery-come-late-night-lounge with DJs and bands still has the national and local artwork; you can't miss the large Warhol painting amongst the retro-styled furniture. The smokers can also retreat outside to the spacious and bamboo-lined patio that also includes a bar. Then menu is Baja-fresh with many Tex-Mex favorites like quesadillas. The drinks range from espresso to specially imported, high-quality tequilas that run as much as $18 a shot. With many Benton Park locals coming in, Atomic Cowboy offers everything from lunch to late-night libations.
