Big Sky Cafe   

Providing health-conscious comfort food, the Big Sky Cafe sends diners to the heavens. Although it calls its menu comfort food, this definitely is not dinner at Grandma's house. A gigantic mosaic of flying barnyard animals and oversized cutlery mesmerizes. Yellows and blues dominate the rest of the dining room. The menu boasts such variations on down-home favorites as portobello and andouille brochettes served over grits, and macaroni pasta with fresh sage, smoked bacon and cheddar cheese. The most famous dish, however, is the roasted-garlic mashed potatoes -- one of the items intended for sharing. Amazing Grace Small Plates, smaller portions of popular dishes, are served on special nights. Other nights have complimentary wine tastings. Stop in for a two-course pre-theater dinner early on weekday evenings. Delicious dessert choices include the bittersweet chocolate bread pudding and the Tahitian vanilla creme brulee. -- Jennifer Dockery
