Double D, a neighborhood anchor for half a century, has plenty of local flavor. Regular patrons have been coming together there for years, to chat together at the bar while keeping an eye on the big screen TV overhead. Sports fans gather for Monday night football, munching on all the necessary snacks, such as chicken wings, pizza and popcorn. Sports memorabilia is liberally scattered throughout, including a fine collection of sports-related bobble head dolls behind the fully-stocked bar. The second, slightly larger room, is home to a juke box, pool tables, dart boards and shuffleboard. On Wednesday nights, stop by for karaoke, with more than 12,000 titles to choose from. The disco ball turning overhead and stage lights shining down are sure to make you feel like a star. Both rooms are dimly lit and have an ultra casual atmosphere.
