Most patrons of Llywellyn's never make it past the downstairs restaurant, but if you look to your left upon entering, you'll notice the staircase leading up to The Loft. There are three rooms upstairs -- one large main room with a bar and a stage for live music, a smaller room with a pool table and more seating, and a third with the ever-present Golden Tee video game. Beer signs and televisions hang from the walls and bands play funky, jammy music. The crowd is young with a lot of college students in the mix that enjoy the 19 or so beers available on tap. It's a good venue for small, local bands and a nice place to shoot a relaxed game of pool. Plus, if you ever get tired of the upstairs scene, the best cheesesteak in St. Louis waits for you down below. -- Adam Bonislawski
