Located just across the street from Union Station, Maggie's is a prime location for downtown business lunches, early-evening dining and late-night revelry. There's plenty of Celtic-oriented decor, and though the menu contains plenty of American fare, items like the corn beef and cabbage, Irish beef stew and Fighting Irish sandwich are hearty enough to satisfy any Irish appetite. Past the dining room and bar area is an expansive back room with video games, darts and pool tables. There are more TVs at Maggie's than any other downtown sports bar -- enough sets for sports nuts to watch every televised game from any angle. There's a dance floor for DJ-inspired boogying, and a spacious patio on the side overlooking 20th Street. Maggie's provides shuttle to Cardinals, Rams and Blues games, and also serves as the epicenter of the party following the annual downtown St. Patrick's Day Parade. Patrons vary from downtown locals to tourist, hotel guests, business professionals and local late-night industry workers.

I went there for the first time on the 17th of December. They had a band there and it was absolutely the best time that I had at a bar.
