Casa Di Copani   

This place is the greatest italian food that I have had in along time. Its a romantic, clean, well kept rest. and by far the best service in town. Not only was the service great and the food the best but the prices are unreal for what you get on your dish. This place puts the Olive Garden right down there with taco bell!!!!!

Copani's is the best food in Syracuse by far and the sevice is exceptional!

I couldn't wait to visit this restaurant after reading a piece in the paper on it. But while I can understand a restraunt having a bad night, or being short items after a holiday, for me its still three strikes and you're out. During my visit, there were five items that were NOT presented to the table and were either replaced by lesser quality or ignored altogether, and at no time did the waiter inform us, he simply brought the replacement item. When I stopped him and asked where an item was or why he brought something totally different he just answered "sorry we're out" (ie butter sauteed squash was replaced by dry and partly rusted broccoli) Long disappointing story short, after waiting fifteen minute for a dessert that was verbally listed for us to chose, the waiter at last came out once again and said, it seems we're out of that too. I made no fuss during the whole event, but upon being handed the bill I told the waiter i was disappointed that so many items were changed or not presented and then no dessert after 15 mins, he looked at me and said "it's YOUR fault, next time don't come here the day after Valentines day." So I guess Copani's lack of proper planning was, in the end, all the customer's fault.
