You might be thinking to yourself, "Mexican ... in upstate New York?" The answer is, "Yes -- at Juanita's!" Juanita's prides itself on being Syracuse's only "totally Mexican restaurant," serving all of your standard Mexican fare -- burritos, tacos, quesadillas, you name it -- at reasonable prices. But Juanita's is also known for its fun and friendly atmosphere, especially on Wednesday nights, when margaritas are half price. Slow down ... better get a taco with that drink! Closed on Sundays.

No flavour
The salsa looked and tasted like it came out of a can from a discount store,chips were hard and cold and we had to request them.
Food was bland and presentation not at all appealing,
My husband and I tried different entrees, neither of us have any desire
to return . I had been to old Juanitas and really didn't want to go to
this new one but was willing to give it one more try, but no more.

as I do not like onions-and informed that all meat was pre-cooked w/ onions will not be back-could not understand if thingswere fresh why would they not fry me up some beef w/out? Am baffled- I felt like a 2nd class citizen there.

Rude, and bad tasting food......Mexican, NOT! More like the city dump.
The ONLY remotely decent . . .
Mexican food in the area. I am amazed to see people writing in and saying differently. I am from New Mexico and Juanita's is the closest you can get to the good stuff here. Are they perfect? No. But far far better than any other so-called "Mexican" restaurant we have tried in this area (and we've tried SEVERAL!).
