There's nowhere in the Press Box where you cannot watch a game or play one. Twenty-three televisions screen football, basketball, hockey, baseball, golf, racing and other competitions. Sit comfortably at the no-frills bar or tables, bleacher-style bench seats or huddle with pals and significant others at the comfy semicircular booths along the side wall. The main dining room, which is big and roomy, features two large, flat, widescreen TVs, with three smaller screens running perpendicular down the middle, and the bar has many TVs hanging overhead. Play pool, foosball, pinball and video golf in between noshing on some of the Bay area's best and most-renowned chicken wings. The menu also lists a wide variety of other bar-food items, as well as full-fledged meals, like seafood, pasta and prime rib. Check out the framed jerseys and other memorabilia from famous Tampa Bay sports figures such as Derrick Brooks, Fred McGriff and Mike Alstott, while sipping on an impressive variety of top-shelf liquors, European imported beers and domestics on draft. The crowd at Press Box is a mix of young and middle-aged professionals, but the establishment is family-friendly, too -- especially now that smoking is no longer allowed inside.

Terrific place me and my friend started going there about 5 years ago and have since become regulars. the fact that you can really be a regular with you usual booth and your usual waiter is fantastic. I have made many friends at the place and we often use if for birthday parties. The food is great too wings are awesome as are the sandwiches even the pasta is good if you dare. The drinks are a little pricey and happy hour is short but you get what you pay for i suppose. Highly recomended

The Press Box is totally old school...loud, crowded and friendly. There's not a better bar in the Bay area & you can always make a friend there. ***** Rating.
