2001 Odyssey   

After paying the hefty cover charge, the juice bar seems even tougher to bear. That is until you get a gander at what you've come to a club like 2001 Odyssey for -- naked dancers and some of Tampa's favorites. This nude club is typical of the strip-club scene in Tampa, with a runway stage that lets the dancers navigate their way to the biggest tippers, mirrors, chrome, spinning lights and bouncers that look like former NFL linemen.Finding the club is no problem -- just look for the big spaceship along Dale Mabry Highway. The space-age decor is somewhat cheesy, but fitting, creating an almost Barbarella effect. They go all out to bring you nude entertainment, and have been voted best strip club in the past.At 2001 you'll find a VIP room and the champagne room for special (in the money) guests.TIP: The entrance fee is less than half price during the day.-- Carl Salminen
