Sure, its smack dab in the middle of raucous Seventh Avenue, but inside, the atmosphere is romantic and intimate, thanks to candlelit tables topped with starched white linen and a rosebuds in dainty vases (there are a few tables outside if youre not into the sentimental surrounds). The pasta is all imported from Italy, and among the preparations are bow ties in alfredo sauce with peas and ham, and fiocchetti di formaggio pasta pouches stuffed with bacon and onion, smothered in a savory cream sauce. Theres a fresh daily seafood selection, which might be grouper or salmon. And if you like lamb, the costolette di agnello is a beautiful preparation of lamb chops served with arugula.
